Defcon is a young, promising band-project from eastern styria. The six members have all been playing in well-known bands and therefore they gained the experience and routine needed to succeed in the music-business. The band is named after the national American security-levels defcon 1-5. Although the guys were into different styles of music they discovered (punk-)rock as their common denominator. This was in the end of 2005 and the band was found. In summer 2006 the first EP, named "Fuel The Fire", was produced. Only two years passed and the first full-length-album came out. With the 2008 published “Neon Nights” another big step forward was made. The band left its teething problems behind and created its own mixture of punk, pop and hardcore. Over 100.000 downloads on the internet platform myspace made the band very popular in a short time. By now Defcon is one of the most booked punk-combos in Austria and already had the pleasure to share the stage with bands like:

Lo Pro Edge is back again! 2008 hat frischen Wind in die Hausrucker Rock-Kombo gebracht: Es gibt zwei neue Gesichter! Der ehemalige Bassist Stefan Eichelseder wird nun von Andreas „Andi“ Mair würdig vertreten, und Ex-Drummer Georg Holter wurde von Stefan „Noub“ Wagner abgelöst. Um die neue Konstellation auch vorzustellen wurden bereits neue Pressefotos geschossen die ihr auf myspace bewundern könnt (ein großes Dankeschön an Len für das Fotoshooting). Beim „Burn The City 2008“ wird Lo Pro Edge neben den altbewährten Songs noch ein paar neue Nummern präsentieren, also nicht verpassen! Ansonsten sieht der Plan für das Jahr 2008 relativ einfach aber effektiv aus: Spaß an der Musik haben und abrocken!
